The Lake Villa, Lindenhurst, Round Lake Area Chamber of Commerce is awarding FIVE $1,000 SCHOLARSHIPS to high school seniors eligible to attend Round Lake High School and or living within Lake Villa Township who will be attending college or technical school. The scholarship will be awarded on a combination of not only the student’s academic and school involvement, but also on their work experience and community service.

To Complete the application you will need the following:

1. A resume containing information about your school awards and activities, your community service involvement and your work experience.
2. A short essay (500 words or less) on your future goals and how you intend to achieve them as well as any other information which you would like the Committee to consider.
3. An up-to-date copy of your high school transcript.
4. Acceptance letter from a college.

Finalists for the scholarships will be required to attend an interview with the Committee.
